My background is in software engineering, so I use small coding examples rather than long explanations. Databases, OOP and pseudocode are the areas I get asked about most. I also help students turn rough IA ideas into something realistic before they start building, then keep the documentation tied to the marking criteria.

Hi, I’m an IB Computer Science tutor and I keep lessons pretty practical. A lot of my students come to me when recursion, algorithms or Java suddenly start feeling messy. I usually work through past-paper questions line by line, then connect them back to the syllabus. I only teach IB, so the IA criteria and mark scheme stay at the centre of what we do.
